My Story

Captain Jeff is a lifelong pilot, and by his own admission, a "Total Airplane Junkie" with over
34,000 hours of Flight Time.  He began flying at age 14, solo'd at 16, earned Private license at 17 and and Commercial at 18.  Jeff began teaching flying shortly after his 18th birthday and has  been involved in teaching flying for the last 45 years. His favorite day is one where he gets to fly... anything.

Jeff holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate, and recently retired from American
Airlines as captain on the Boeing 777-300.  He also holds a Commercial certificate for
Single Engine Land and Gliders.  Jeff is a Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) with
approval for; PE-ASEL, PE-AMEL, CIRE-ASEL, CIRE-AMEL, MCE, FPE, GIE and

FIRE,

Jeff owns a 1976 V35B Beechcraft Bonanza and a 1950 Cessna 170A taildragger. He
can regularly be spotted around the airport in a variety of other airplanes as well!
