Bob is the newest addition to Sheridan Pilots 307 after recently achieving his Certified Flight Instructor certificate!  He received his Private Pilot license at age 18.  While on active duty as a Naval submarine officer, Bob lived numerous places around the United States and had great flying experiences in a number of flying clubs.  Currently he also volunteers on the Sheridan Pilots Association pending 501(c)(3) Board of Directors as Treasurer.

 

He came to Sheridan with wife Jane from Wisconsin several years ago to be near family.  Bob loves aviating and hopes to pass the joy of flying to others.  He particularly enjoys flights in and around
the Bighorn Mountains and helping SP307 provide free transport of patients to critical medical
appointments as part of Angel Flight West.

Outside of aviation, Bob is a CPA and tax professional who teaches individual taxation for the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater (online).  He is also a coordinator/instructor/reviewer for the IRS sponsored Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, which provides free tax return preparation for low and moderate income taxpayers while giving students practical experience.  Bob has an undergraduate degree in mathematics and masters degrees in both Finance and Accounting.

From helping shuttle aircraft for maintenance inspections, helping Bryan and Heinz with mock check rides for students and completing Angel Flight West missions, Bob is an incredible member of our team!
